This website is a collection of independent and impartial reviews based on my experiences travelling as a discerning wheelchair user (with a penchant for affordable luxury). Over the past 22 years I have stayed in hotels, homes and B&Bs all over the world, and every time has been a learning experience. What has been promised hasn’t always been what was delivered!

I have always found a distinct lack in reliable and honest reviews and spoke to other wheelchair users who felt similarly; it can be incredibly frustrating to spend countless hours researching accommodation or venues, and hundreds or thousands of pounds travelling only to find that the accommodation you were guaranteed was suitable for your access requirements was actually totally unsuitable.

I have reviewed the hotels honestly and have included photographs taken by me to illustrate the access and features of the room that may be of importance to guests with disabilities. I hope to let other wheelchair users know where they too can find accessible and welcoming hotels whether for a quick weekend break in the UK or a luxury holiday abroad.

Occasionally I shall also include restaurants, bars, theatres, cinemas and other venues too.
